Tír Chonaill AC Club Training / Coaching Day

Saturday 29th December 2007

The club “coaching/training,” day on Saturday 29th December at the Abbey School Gym in Donegal Town was a great success, with those that turned up enjoying some expert advice and encouragement.  The day began at 11.00am with a general warm-up, stretching and drill work given by Paddy Donoghue.

This was followed by event specific work, where David Doherty, Eamon Harvey and Paddy took the athletes through their paces.

David and Jackie served a fine lunch of homemade soup and sandwiches.

Immediately after lunch Osteopath, physical therapist and club coach Pat Mc Manus gave a talk on injury prevention to the group.

The afternoon session, with Paddy and Eamon, consisted of core work and ply metric work.  The evening came to a close at 3.00pm with a general cool down and some stretching.
