St.John Bosco Athletics Club Easter Camp


During the Easter Holiday period, one hundred and thirty children enjoyed a fun packed three days, at the St John Bosco Athletic Club Multi Sports Camp. The very popular and successful Easter and Summer Camps, now in their third year, according to club Chairman Eamon Harvey, owes their success


‘ to the great variety of child centred activities offered, to the excellent and expansive recreation and sporting facilities at the Abbey Voc School and above all to the coaches and staff who possess an extensive portfolio of coaching and teaching expertise’


Camp activities included Trampoleening, Sportshall Athletics, Gymnastics, Orienteering, Track and Field --Field events, Irish Dance, Art, Badminton, Tag Rugby, Mini Basketball, Introduction to Gaelic Football and Soccer Skills; Climbing Frames/Ropes, Mini Volleyball, Unihoc, Little Athletics, Quiz, Minor Games/Board Games, Story time.
