TC - history makers. Surely some history was created today, Sunday at the 'Donegal Cross Country Championships' when four family members from one house and three from two others competed in the colours of Tír Chonaill AC. From the McMullin house we saw mum Julia have a superb run in the novice women, while dad Brian made his cross country debut in the men’s novice followed by son Ronan in the U-11 boys and daughter Eva, who competed in the U-13 girls race.
Likewise for the Timoney and Rooney households, where mums Nora Timoney and Eleanor Rooney made super debuts for the club’s novice women, while twins, Sarah and David Timoney and Mebh and Oisin Rooney competed in the age group races...
