Friday 18/ Saturday 19 May 2012

On an action packed sporting weekend when two more athletes from Donegal, Brendan Boyce, 50k walk and Catriona Jennings, Marathon, were ratified by Athletics Ireland for the London Olympics, when Leinster hammered Ulster in the Heineken Cup final, when Chelsea according to non supporters stole the European Cup, when Donegal's 'keep ball' style easily overcame Cavan in Breffne Park and annoyed the TV punters, Donegal Post Primary School Athletes had a number of outstanding individual and team performances at the Aviva Ulster schools finals at the Antrim Forum.

The Friday Afternoon/Saturday event attracted nearly, 1000 athletes, all who had qualified via five regional finals, plus 4,000 teachers/supporters.
